Mate, I was in for the best part of $6k this year on gear for the wife and kids + passes. Managed to blag the season passes for next year thankfully. Anyway, 29 fish between two of us this weekend. :-) Bloody stuffed now, walked 16k's yesterday and paddled a canoe for about the same today.
Is there? It's a top spot. Really like going to Ohau - let me know if you want to ski there, I can usually score a few free passes for there, and down here in Queenstown. That road is bloody scary in the snow - I slid off there a couple of years ago, thought I was going all the way straight down the hill......
