Hi, logging on today I saw your photo taken in Autumn of the leaves on the tree (receding diagonally into the background). Totally agree with the change in exposure value (? excuse me, real beginner at this, still learning the jargon -- by doing so you focused just on the front branch, eliminating some of the distracting background?). What were your thoughts on changing the form of the image, maybe shaving a bit from the sides? This is NOT a criticism or a recommendation, just interested in your thoughts. I agree the photos look so much better on black - wish we could change the background to black or dark grey on flickr - maybe one day!
