Default 2009 - Your Three Best People Shots

With 2009 drawing to a close some people are probably (might be, perhaps) wondering what they got out of 2009. I am wondering that as well. Lets see what you consider to be your three best people shots from 2009. Post three photographs only. The photographs can come from any capacity and perspective for which you utilise photography, i.e. - personal archives, stock photography, print publication, multimedia, exhibition, hobbyist, amateur or professional means, whatever. The only requirement is that all photographs must have been captured by you and be from 2009.

Okay to get the ball rolling....
I'll post one in the meantime and add two more later as I have several rolls of Velvia which have yet to be developed from which I think I have a couple of good candidates for this thread. There's also the prospect of a model shoot on the 6th December that I have aspirations for, providing my to-do-list clears.

Now the real story behind Azza's photo.
Him scheming, how can I get down the beach tonight, the sunset is looking good, hmmmm.
Mumzy, "want to go to the beach for a walk?"
Bugger, a bit to early, why don't we take a photo together......

Then the sunset started cracking on properly and she was left on her own.

    Sound about right?

Very Close. She was left to walk the three dogs while I mucked around taking photo's. She loved this shot so much she has said she will come to the beach more often...it's hard taking decent photo's in low light while trying to walk three dogs

Indiginz - I can see it now. Great Shot!!

I like moments like this, they have a connectivity and affinity that is ultimately personal. Others may be able to associate with the aesthetic of the moment but the instance itself remains an indelible connection concerned only with the people in the frame.... and the photographer.

    Hi, here are my contributions...

They were all taken on EOS500D, EFS 17-55mm IS, converted to B/W using Picasa, and tweaked contrast. Still experimenting as I've only had the kit for a couple of months and not an expert in PP.

Taken in Singapore while on holiday. I quite like the contrast between large sized ad and passerby.

From wedding 2 weeks ago, shot from audience perspective. I thought this was technically not a great photo, but liked the "emotion" from the groom and his mates huddled together in prayer while the minister looks on.

From a week ago, pic of friend's daughter Zarina. She's very photogenic. It was a quite a bright day but shot at high shutter speed to freeze the motion (hair) as it was very windy.

    Cheers,
