Due to weather conditions I won't be heading back to Auckland for finals day at the Vic Guth.

Much better day today (keeper rate wise anyway).

Met up with TK (see below). Learnt a lot more about the game. I thought that my remote transmitter battery had died but it kept on going. However, my timing needs some work on the remote and I probably didn't position it very well, kept getting either umpires or base coaches in the way.

Any way, here is a small selection from one of the semi-finals & the final.

(I think he was trying to blow TK a kiss )

As soon as I saw the surf-caster aerial receiver for the remote rig I knew you were there somewhere. It was nice to meet you Mark, look forward to meeting you again.

Now before you all flood Marks' in-box with orders for prints of photo 5 remember I'm free to do some nude modeling in my Sunday best, sunnies are optional though! Be advised, I'm allergic to fig-leaves (they give me a rash).... oops thats probably a mental picture you can do with out aye. 8)

Nice to meet you too mate, very enjoyable afternoon.

Now, seeing you mentioned the above personal advertisement (which probalby should have gone in the For Sale (or free) section), I will redirect the request from the "Happy Harry Digest" directly to your email

Thank you, all the shots from the fence are with a 300 2.8 with a 2x TC, any shots with the remote would have been with a 70-200 at 70mm.

Because I don't use the 300 often enough, I frequently forget about the focus pre-set but I did remember to use it in the final game. Came in very handy.
