    Default Lightchasers-nz workshops

    Lightchasers-nz photography workshops.....

........are designed to educate and inspire. You may be just starting out in photography and want to learn about exposure, ISO and aperture settings, or the many creative combinations. How they relate to each other and the various ways to you can use them. Maybe you've been at the shutter end of a camera for a lot longer and find there is so much more you would like to learn about, be informed about.

Learn more about some different styles or techniques for post processing in Lightroom or Photoshop, the different work flows and how these useful programmes can improve your creativity and output.

Our workshops are based in Twizel, landscape photography in all directions. From the big MacKenzie country landscapes through to tiny macros of the delicate frost formed on the tussock grasses, iced over ponds and even small lakes.

Through the day we will learn and experiment with many different techniques, what the best options are for your own style. Or maybe you would like to develop a new way of doing things. A new style.

Then in the evening we show you many different ideas for working with both Lightroom and Photoshop. Whether you are a beginner or more experienced we can cater to your needs......

To see more about these then please read the top of this page under ‘Workshops’ on our blog, or follow the LINK straight to the page.

    Cheers
    Stephen

I'm keen. Mackenzie is the best bit of NZ for winter landscapes. Would love to be shown a few out of the way spots.

If I do it, there's a couple of things I want to make clear:

    1. I'm not going anywhere near a Nikon.
    2. Making the assumption that there will be at least one Nikonite present, I don't want to be touched inappropriately.

You could just get a jetbus flight to chch or queenstown from Auckland, and get the scenery to go with the workshop. It's not expensive.

OK, to be completely honest, I did once own a Nikon F50, for a couple of years, in about 1995.

It was a period of experimentation for me, but I kept finding myself going back to the more normal look and feel of an Olympus OM2sp.

It's something in my past that I've learned to accept, although I still feel quite ashamed about the whole episode.

We're looking at the middle of next month (March) for the first, just trying to finalise a few bits and boobs for that.

I like this forum because we're photographers, not golfers

take your cheap polo shirts to a golfing site, where hopefully they'll whack you out as spam.
