The go pro cameras are great. ALot of friends use them on their race cars. One of them owns Go Pro NZ. Can highly recommend the HD one, will see if I can get my hands on some footage from the weekend.

Thanks for the responses, I would still like to see some stills and everyone wants to see mrfinster on his surfboard. i think I will be saving my pennies and buying on.

Have you got any examples of the still shots it produces.
Are the 1080P vids ok
What do you generally think about it.
Have you tried it on something else besides the surf board ie The suzuki. or fish cam.

I just got the HD version and did a blog on it on my photovan site .
I have some sample images there and a 100% crop along with a place where you can download a 5 second HD video clip if interested .
