Love the photo, great panning and enough movement to give a sense of speed. Great processing too, very in keeping of the era.

Great shot! I admire the technique. I really need some practice for this high sped panning, cause I mostly miss something.
I also like the wide frame on the shot.
I know I know, kne I'd got it wrong the second I posted the thread but you cant change thread titles on here!
As for technique, was precious little of that I'm afraid, grab camera, try and fix all the settings a friend in work had buggered with , point towards bike & pan, figure out you've got -2ev exp comp on and ISO 100 + 1/30th was hitting f22 and the result was an underexposed, but recoverable image...
