That looks great. How much does it cost to print that size?
Had this printed and mounted onto aluminium, 1.5 meters long. Nice and rigid and not too heavy...
I used my polarizer on the windows but there is still quite a bit of reflection. Looks artistic I recon.
I walk along this saltmarsh every morning on the way to work, this day there were some spoonbills in residence and I happened to have my camera.

Canon > 5DIII | 17-40 L | 35 L | 24-105 L | 70-200 f/2.8 IS II L | 100 L | 400 f/2.8 IS II L | 600 EX-RT | 1.4x TC III | 2x TC III
My son works for the place here in Whakatane and it's s'posed to be a secret price for me.
Printed straight from file with no messing by them it was $125.00
$165/sq m.
Jeff (my son) gave me some sample test bits first, but straight from file was fine.
The stuff is tough as, I was going to get them to apply a laminate but we recon it doesn't need it,
I have spat on and wiped and scratched the surface and it doesn't seem to leave a mark. Jeff says it s'posed to last 7 years outside in full sun.
do they have a website?

They do. That price was specific for me though, but if you are a good negotiator I'm sure you'll do well.

They print onto glass etc etc
There's a pic of Tom Garlic, the boss, in front of a glass print of Ans Westra's in Auckland somwhere
Very nice! Well done!
PS.
Well, you may want tell your son that the home page of that site is broken. There is no index.html exists and I got a file directly listed with the domain only address which is not so good practice.
Yes cheers Ben I noticed that also. I shall pass the word.
That looks really good RoBoT. And the concept they are doing looks very interesting. What does it weigh?
Site looks to be working now.
It's not too heavy, I don't posses scales. The stuff is like foam core but with 2 layers of thin aluminium either side, really glossy white which allows the print to be mounted to it very well.
To hang it on the wall you'd need to frame it or else glue some chunky blocks of wood on the back and the run a wire between them. That would look great if it was hanging an inch or so from the wall, gives it a nice real drop shadow if there's a light on it.
That looks great!! Is that on the river, near the motor camp, looking across toward Scout Island?
Wow, you know the place!
It's from nearer the yacht club looking more northish.

Ah OK. I used to love riding bikes around there as a kid. I guess you'll recall that all the area behind the TAB, what's now New World and such, was a disused area with toi toi and great tracks to ride bikes and stay out of everyones way. We used to row across from McGarvey Rd to Scout Island and camp the night.
yum yum. great photo and mounting
Thanks Nikola.
I live in McGarvey Rd Derwood, I walk to the end and throught the rose gardens and along the rivebank to my shop every morning. Very pleasant indeed, I'm often a bit late...
