New places in Hamilton (aka the Tron)

...or in the general Waikato area.
I love the gardens but am sorta getting sick of it being my 'only' option.

I live in the Waikato but most people want me to meet them in the Tron...

I want some sort of country places and some grungy urban places... can anyone give me a heads up to some cool places?

Check out the alleyways around the city.. theres a lot of textures and various weird doorways etc to pose in.

I found a nice old tagged warehouse at the southern end of tramway road.. but i drove past it the following week to see it being knocked down :-(

There's this old burned out house near Harvery Norman , I think it's in Ruffel road .

The graffiti wall was/is across the road from the warehouse in town.. in the wintec carpark bit.. but its had the top part chopped off.. and not sure what else is remaining.
I have seen another few walls around, I really need to start noting them down.

Ah, thanks, I have used that wall, but it seems the bit you used has gone. I plan to use the music shop wall in Hamilton, and some of the doors (some great ones around the Southern End). I found a great graffiti/art wall in Raglan on the weekend - awesome with Pohutukawa behind it at the moment. It's down the track to the ramp where the rescue wave runner is launched.

Any suggestions for excursions/events/landscapes to photo would be much appreciated.

I don't do weekly shoots but I have a facebook group for Hamilton models and photographers meet-ups . We haven't done anything for about a month but you could feel free to join it and post a message there when you are free to do a shoot and a few of us could get together .
