Flash looks great, any diffuser or bounce card?
What are those blue gloves etc for?! I thought these charity boxing events were supposed to be just for show?!
Our work colleague decided to fight for Cure Kids in this tournament. I volunteered to shoot and was asked by the organiser to shoot the Red Carpet and then the audience when the boxing was on.
Here are some of the highlights - more up on Flickr
And the man himself - fought hard but lost by only one point. Knocked his opponent off his feet in the first round!
I had a really interesting time, and learnt a lot. Pleased also that I was relatively well prepared. Mostly I need knee pads!

great shots.. nice to be at ringside for such events!
Thanks guys - I was shooting the red carpet entry and audience shots only - they had a pro guy doing the fight shots so I dont have any of those.
Shot with my homemade diffuser on the flash
