    Mmmmmm.... thought I would go all dark and Scrouge-like for this one. Photo taken on 27th Nov (so discount it if need be) but Photoshopped today

    it's nice to see the christmas spirit in NZ

    every year the telecom tree gets taller and brighter


    here it is at waitangi park prior to the lights being switched on

    Ahem , i'm out ... just realised Christmas Spirit comp. closes on the 25th and i just lightened up my shot .Don't think i'd stand much of a chance anyway so not greatly upset but i'll still vote :-) Hope you all had a fab Christmas !

    About this shot: I was really planning to put a christmas tree and to my surprised my wife put up a series of christmas cards to form a christmas tree on our wall. It was really amazing seeing this and really compliment on that empty wall.

    Would more people vote if you put a little link to the vote on the front page, as I imagine that this often gets lost quite easily?
