A nice walk to Otarawairere Bay

A lovely beach between Whakatane and Ohope Beach, foot access only, about 20 mins and there are three ways in. This was Sunday afternoon abd there were about 8 other people in the whole place. The shelly beaches are nice as well as the strong rock formations. I was pleased to see a few people to add scale.

I've been there! I think it would make a cool sunrise beach, you could even camp somewhere in the trees!

Thanks Tanachy, yes it would probably make a great sunrise shot, but it won't be by me.

Now that doesn't sound too bad at all, trouble carting the stubbies there would damn near kill me!
