I have been through Nikau caves a few years ago and it is (or was) a guided trip through the cave. so hard to stop for photography except some snaps. There is one point you drop through a hole about 1m or so and crawl along in some water for about 10m (I had the guide take my camera to keep it dry)
If you can get in there with a tripod, the glow worms can be at a good height and close to you
