    Bird is the 400L other 2 are both the sigma 50.

    Took the 1DIII for a quick test drive. Hard not to smile when the shutter starts gunning ;o)

    The real joy of 10fps is on a race track and you can see a crash unfold frame by frame.

    The biggest down side to having the 1Dsmk3 was in RAW when the data couldnt be written to card fast enought and buffer got full. Had to move to jpgs in the end.
    I have the Canon M80 for storage but I have old CF cards. Need the new ultra DMA type.

    You guys have picked up your 1 series at the right time. Cant believe I paid $12k just for a body 3 years ago.

    btw - The site has resized my image...It wasn't great but it looks a bit better than this!

    I had a 1Dmk2 and 5D 1D was 8fps. I wanted the best of both so 1Ds ........5 fps is enough. The mk3 is a better camera for the controls, less 2 finger settings
    Sometimes I do wonder if I did the right thing selling both.
