Great stuff Jos! 96 shots - That must have taken some time? I'm curious - if the 50mm was reversed, how did you re-focus for each frame?

96 shots, but still only about 2mm depth of focus!

You incrementally move the camera closer and closer between shots ( Iuse a small focus stage gadget)

This is the extreme end of this, well worth a watch full size

Ahh. That explains it! I didn't think moving the entire tripod would work that well! Good site that too!

And no doubt you lit it with your brilliance Jos!

Wow!!! Hope you thanked the dead wasp for keeping still for so long, Jos.

Just a gratuitous new gear shot.

    Yeah...

commented in a thread (along with a few others) and suddenly I was banned for 3 months...WTF?

So, I created a new user account "sticII" and went back on and instantly got banned for life...

    Go figure...

So, I'm now back on there again, in a new persona, with a new email account (well, and old one really, and using a different flickr account too...

    Great macros Jos!

Hey Stic when I saw "Beaver" I thought you'd managed a shoot an old De Havilland aeroplane. Does that mean I'm getting old?
