Yes I liked the seagull shots too, stroppy customers! Number 8 is a variable oyster catcher by the way.

That starling is a pretty boy/girl, crisp as!

I went into the backyard to get some nice evening cloud photos and spotted this mutabilis bud, this is at 6400 iso, it was very dark with more rain coming. I quite like the grainy noise and the mood of it.

We had another holiday here in KL so I went out to a local lake as there was no wind and blue sky. Then around the corner I came across an old run down house which had some great art painted in it. Wasnt till I was walking back that I noticed the warning sign.... a image of a policeman shooting and shadow figure....

Fantastic trip, shame a few incidents meant we started late so the sun was crucifying the landscape, note to self, shooting good landscapes from fast moving jetboats isnt easy

Adam that 2x looks like it hasnt knocked the IQ one jot. How does it compare to your ol 100-400L shots? Looks tack sharp.

in terms of IQ it appears to degrade very little - AF speed was slower in poor light. I want to try it in daylight. So far though it appears to be made for the 70-200.

Looks like a great way to get 400mm without getting a second lens. Would have been great for that airshow too!

You'll have to chuck on some clearcoat next time you're passing through Texas, Jos, he's wearing away!

The ivy is also starting to nibble his toes

Actually the degradation is the interesting part, I 'll have to keep an eye on it and take more shots as it goes. There's really no risk of the shops being torn down, nothing happens there.
