    It's been a while since I've been out shooting..... today I went to Cornwallis Beach for a walk and fired a couple of shots of Sandi (girlfriend) here's my fave from the shoot and one from last weekend too.

    lovely monochrome on the first one, second one the light is a bit harsh

    Cheers Paul. Yup, I agree about the light in the second, I didn't have a modifier with me so I used an old light fitting that was lying around

    #1 is the more interesting one but pp looks a bit funky around the eyes.
    Try processing #2 in colour too?

    Can't put my finger on it but I find the b&w much more flattering to Sandi than the coloured one. For some reason she looks older in that version.

    I was going for a more.... I dunno "The Piano" Holly Hunter style with this shot so not necessarily a flattering look

    1st one is ace.

    2nd does nothing for me sorry. I kinda get the subtle lighting but dont care for the results.
