    I have been to a few galleries and thought that painting is like a photo, never the other way around

    this is an old post, but surely aren't we all doing this by photographing people all the time? (3D into 2D?).

    It neat nevertheless.

    I think the point is that it's being done 'manually'.... I missed the original post, glad I caught it this time, it's pretty cool.
