This may be a service that some will find useful for US sites that won't ship overseas.
http://www.myamericanshopper.com/. They buy the item, consolidate a shipment and freight it to you.

I just bought some testgear through the sister outfit (International checkout) and the service was excellent.

There is a few of those around, can't remember their names though. Have been tempted but never tried. Let us know how you get on if you use it for a "proper" order.
