F22 is probably not worth the effort. I try to stay around f11 for macro. 1/6th is waaaay to slow, even if you had IS. Any movements are exaggerated and this has led to the OOF image you have. Keep trying, and concentrate on keeping shutter speed up
Had a walk around the garden this morning, noticed a spider about 4mm long and figured it was worth a shot to tryout my gear
