Looks good!![]()
Hi guys,
So I got up with the birds this morning on a freezing cold winters morning in the UK. Decided to head over to the sea wall about 10 mins away and see if I could grab a sunrise.
This is the first sunrise I've attempted, so all your comments and critique are welcome. I'm not totally happy with it, I don't think I got the focus quite right and I'm unsure of processing for these types of shot, but I don't think it's a bad first effort.
Taken with my 550D and 18-55 kit lens. No filters or anything else.
Thanks.
Nice!

I really like this , the colour is beautiful
Beautiful. very much intense colour.
For a sunrise shot, shot with a kit lens, this excellent, well done
Thanks for the kind words.
On a related note, I ordered a set of ND Grad filters and a Pro Stop 10 ND from Hitech, which turned up today. Lucky, because I'm heading back to NZ tomorrow!! Looking forward to trying them out when I get back.

Due to a colour cast and some weird flare/IR circle thing if any strong light gets near it, which is a pain when your using it mostly in stronger light!
