Very nice. I generally dont go for images with flare in them but this seems to work here.

What was the machinery anyway?

I get lots of chance to photograph industrial plant, but it is usually dirty scummy and in a lot of cases just plain unattractive but your shot seems pristine in condition.

Thanks, it's the gearing mechanism on the new bridge at the Wynyard Quarter in the Viaduct Harbour in Auckland; that's why it looks so clean...give it a year or so...

Looks great and the flare somewhat mimics the gears.
It is nice and clean, though I do like a good bit of rust now and then!
