I've just sold some stuff on trademe after not selling much for a while and wasn't too pleased with their success fees . $17 to sell three old flashes for $250 ! I think they're getting a little greedy so from now on I'm putting things I'm not in a hurry to sell on Sella [including my macro extension tube set ] .
It's a pity that trademe sort of has the monopoly which allows them to be greedy on their pricing but since I'm in no hurry to sell some of these things I can deal with the slow traffic and hope it speeds up in future as more people get tired of the money-grabbing site .

It would be good if Sella was better laid out - or maybe I'm just used to trademe's layout . What I really like about sella is that you can also offer
to swap .

TardME is getting crowded with people selling cheap Chinese knock of junk, it is hard to find a real second hand trader on there now. Consequently there are not many really good deals.
There search engine is pathetic as is there listing sections (200 lens caps for sale in the Lenses section, makes for a crowded listing and hard to find a specific lens)
Sella unfortunately is not a lot better, but the fees are cheaper.
I have quite a bit of stuff to sell off but the listing/success fees put me off as it is not worthwhile in the end.

I was just looking in the camping section of sella and there are some good bargains closing soon that would not be so cheap on trademe [ $20 for a one person tent ] . I think I'm going to start taking advantage of the little coverage they have to pick up some bargains

This one you have on sella is an older non IS one so 2 models old but still a fantastic lens.

Possibly, its around the right price. The alternative is a new sigma 120-300f2.8 OS.

I'm in no hurry to sell but have my Nikon 70-200 F2.8 on Sella , I am open to negotiation including swaps for other lenses and gear that I would use more - fast wide zoom for example . [ 17-50/55 etc. ]
