Auckland Camera Centre

Has anyone heard of or had dealings with the Auckland Camera Centre. http://www.aucklandcamera.com

I'm about to purchase a lens from them (online) but before I pass over my $1000, was just wondering if anyone has had any dealings with them (good or bad).

In that case, they refused to help a just-out-of-warranty camera with a known, common issue get fixed. Another retailer (Greg from Photo & Video) stepped in and helped her get Canon to fix it for free.

That's one isolated case of course. People here have had good dealings with Photo & Video (photo.co.nz) and Progear in Newmarket, so worth checking them first.

I've bought from them, both online and in store. Online service was great (phoned to see if I wanted a filter to with the lens I was buying). In store seems to be a case of who you get, when, etc but overall pretty good. I go back there which is more than I can say for a competitor.

I've purchased a reasonable amount of stuff from Auckland Camera, including bodies and lenses. Never had a problem. APIX is another good outlet I've used.
