Heaps of people make money on the internet. Heaps more don't.
All of the crap that comes up when you type "make money online" into google, is crap.
Make a website/blog/youtube vid, get lots of traffic, work out some advertising deals.
I finally clicked on one of those ads that told me how easy it is to make money online and of course they wanted "$99 for a kit" and I understood how the author made money.
But my wife has been in New Zealand a few months now , she has a work permit and has been looking at jobs in healthcare since she worked for the department of opthalmology at Waterloo university for 20 years - but "we" decided to turn down a few job offers that involved shifts since it would mean either having her wake up early in the morning [ and disturb me ] or come home later in the evening - when we've both been alone long enough and would rather spend the time together.
I don't desperately need her to be working but of course she wants to contribute and have a sense of purpose.
So I'm wondering , for someone who has the luxury of being able to choose what they do without being in a huge hurry to be making enough to support themselves right away - is there a viable option for making money online ?

Any work in Waikato hospital? Opthalmology really isn't one of those departments that relies on shift work, especially if it is outpatients.
There is quite a bit of stuff that she can't find in NZ that may be worth importing - the trouble is finding a good supplier and getting through all the legal aspects of importing [?]
She was offered a job at Braemar hospital , but that was the shift work.
