Thanks for the uploads,
Not so easy getting pics of the WRC boys,only have a few seconds each car and always lots of people to get in the way.

Can get some...interesting crowd pic's also

When they had the world champs around Raglan a friend let me park my van on his farm - got some nice shots from there

Many stages still held in Raglan. This is were one of the best stages is, Whaanga Coast is an epic place which is nice and fast!

I wasn't anywhere near crowds when I took pictures last time and the locals I think were just put off by having their road closed up
I set up my van on the side of the road including a platform on the roof for my chair



In some places I was on the shade side so I set up the D50 with flash



A walk up the hill and there's a jump shot



There were a handful of people standing around in some spots but otherwise it was one of those places where you are 'locked in' for the day .

Awesome set of images Brett. 2 and 4 are money shots for sure, but I love them all. Great colour and panning. Really shows the speed. I just got back from this myself, drove up from Wellington - will start a thread shortly too.

Desmond - looks like a great set-up. Whats with the guy on the track, I wouldn't take my chances... Reminds me a bit of the shots that used to come out of Europe of the sea of photogs parting before the cars.

That's me clowning around . I set the camera up on a tripod and got some shots of myself an hour before the race started - then got some shots of the cars coming around the corner and did some photoshop
