A little while back we did some runway photos for Restyle -- A Project Runway meets World of Wearable Arts event. We had so much fun shooting and seeing all the creations! Then we were approached by Que magazine -- and here is the result! The Official Photographers feature a 4 page spread in the Summer Issue out now.

We're hoping to do similar with the akl uni rag this year, it terrifies me but we're practically rising from the ashes so anything's bound to be an improvement
Do you mind me asking if what they offered you was a going 'industry-spec' rate, or discounted because of who/what they are? I'd hate to start lowballing anyone if we were to look beyond student-sourced material.

Not exactly a high end publication but it fits the topic
I Just Have Cameras and Stuff
    I don't have an Artistic Eye - I have a Technical Bent & a love of Gadgets
Give an Artist a box of different sized colour blocks and he will create an art work; give me the same box and I will sort it by colour and then size :)

Probably the first publication we're aware of since it was from the DomPost for a feature article

Alternatively you can hashtag the photos on different social platforms, but I guess sending them in leaves them in HQ.

Lots of forumites in D Photo this issue. Camus Wyatt has a multi page article full of great stuff, I saw Paul's competition winning selfie, and I even got a little page space referencing my macro thread. There are probably some others too!

Yep , when i did that layer experiment last year which was initiated by you Jos i was nicely asked about if it would be ok for my layer shot to be used for the forum part of the mag and if i was good with that to send the bigger sized file so it could be published.

New client has her website up and running. All my images on there, none of the young ladies were models, all friends of friends of the business owner.
That made it hard work getting smiles and posture right but they all did well in the end. Her web guy has done something weird reextracting the images on the home page slider with that halo effect but have sent them an image that should fix that for them.
All shot with 24-105, one soft box, reflector and mobile background roll. Hopefully a new batch up soon lit by the Jinbei setup that included some night style outdoors shot on decking.
